The course was dedicated for issues of granting protection for the third country nationals before expulsion by BG authorities.
So the specific topics mentioned during the event, were:
1.Legal basis for granting protection for the humanitarian reason and for tolerated stay, established in the Act on Aliens 2013.
2.Rights and freedoms included In the European Convention of Human Rights and Fundamental freedoms (Rome Convention 1950 with additional protocols).
3.Understanding of the rights and freedoms in view of European Court for Human Rights judgments.
4.Administrative procedure of granting protection by BG authorities.
The scope of the course included theoretical and practical classes.
The course was conducted by lecturers from the BG Headquarter, Phd Paweł Dąbrowski and Phd Michał Kowalski from Council for Refugees. The participants taking part in the course were from all BG Divisions in PL.
