The participants of this training were the employees and border guards from various Border Guard Regional Units. A substantial support to the workshop was given by external experts who described the symptoms of psychological disorders, with special consideration to PTSD, and discussed the procedures of conducting official actions aimed towards persons suffering from trauma, mental disorders or victims of violence. Furthermore the participants had the possibility to familiarise with methods of working with disabled people e.g. hearing or intellectually impaired people, as well as persons suffering from chronic diseases. Another issue raised during the workshop concerned trafficking in human beings, identification of THB victims and psychological aspects of conducting official actions aimed towards victims of THB, along with the ability to undertake crisis interventions. This workshop was co-financed in the frames of Norway Grants project No. 26/NMF PL 15/14.
