They allowed to train 496 persons within 90 language groups. The vast majority of participants were officers and employees of the Border Guard HQ and all district units of Border Guard: 399 persons within 71 language groups.
The other participants were employees of the Office for Foreigners: 97 persons within 19 language groups.
Each participant received a set of workbooks. All the courses were held on BG premises.
The courses which value reached 469 000 PLN were co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 as a part of the Project 26/NMF PL15/14 ‘Strengthening the competence and qualifications of public service within the area of migration and asylum including counteracting irregular migration’.
Increase of language competencies is crucial to empower knowledge and abilities of public service on the field of asylum and migration.
