FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russian Federation
The Warmińsko-Mazurski Border Guard Regional Unit appeals to football supporters going to the FIFA World Cup in Russian Federation for adequate early appearance at the border crossing points. Border checks of travellers will take place at all traffic lanes. On match days, in case of heavy cross-border traffic, border checks of travellers going to Russian Federation will take place also on entry lanes to Poland.
Note: According to the Russian procedures, football fans travelling to attend the matches must have a valid passport and FAN ID.
Travellers with the above-mentioned documents will be able to enter Russian Federation without visas between June 4 and July 15, and leave the territory of the Russian Federation by July 25.
The football tournament will start on the territory of the Russian Federation on June 14 and will last until July 15. The following matches will be played in Kaliningrad:
- June 16: Croatia - Nigeria
- June 22: Serbia - Switzerland
- June 25: Spain - Morocco
- June 28: England - Belgium
